Books and Reading

On Monday, August 6, Mud and Water hosted a special radio program on books and reading.

Bill Fugler of the Neighbourhood Bookstore and Cafe talked about Sacré bleu: a comedy d’art by Christopher Moore (HarperLuxe, 2012), and Pulphead by John Jerimiah Sullivan (Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 2011).

Both books are available at the Winnipeg Public Library. Bill also gave a shout out to the Cornish branch.

Geoff Heath of the Junto Radical Lending Library talked about Black Flags and Windmills: Hope, Anarchy, and the Common Ground Collective by Scott Crow (PM Press, 2011). The book will be available at the Junto library. The library is at 2-91 Albert Street and open Thursday to Saturday from 2 to 6 pm.

Geoff also talked about the 2012 Winnipeg Anarchist Bookfair and DIY Fest, September 21 to 23.
